Time for us to get-along.

It’s time that we put away our differences and accept that we live in a changing world and that the only constant in life is change. Those who cannot accept change are bound for a very difficult and unhappy life. Things will never return to those days when to discriminate and hate were a way of life. A video of a self-avowed Nazi hurling hateful insults at a Muslim woman near Pinawa doesn’t reflect that community, says a former Winnipegger who retired there 11 years ago.

“It certainly isn’t the way I see Pinawanians,” said Ken Reddig, who didn’t recognize the bearded, burly and foul-mouthed 30-something man in the video that’s been viewed more than 12,000 times on Facebook since it was posted earlier this week.

“I’m not aware of anyone like that.”

The incident happened in July in the Pinawa area and was posted on social media by Calgary teacher Kaniz Fatima this week. Fatima, who was on vacation, asked the man in a parking lot for directions.
